This past week was so fun completing Hero Week with all you CrossFitters. Thanks for joining us in banging out all of those really hard workouts. I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July.
Point Fitness Summer Nutrition Challenge – CSE

The challenge officially starts tomorrow! As a reminder, what you need to do today is:
1) Take a before picture.
2) Take measurements. Measurements can be found in your CSE Journals.
3) Do your first week meal prep. Grocery lists and meals can all be found in your CSE Summer Meal Plan Books.
Emily and I have just got our lists together and are starting our meal prep for this week! So many great meals in this Summer Meal Plan. We seriously can’t wait!

The Nutrition Factor
Today, as I was running my 10 miles and doing my 150 burpee pull-ups to complete “Clovis”, I had to chuckle to myself. When Alejandro suggested we do this today, I barely flinched. I knew it would take a couple of hours but that didn’t bother me. Pushing my body to the limits and challenging my body was never something that I feared.
BUT… Ask me to meal prep for the week… Now that’s a different story. It takes a couple of hours on Sunday and a little extra time through the week but it’s daunting to me. It’s something I struggle with. I’d much rather stick to the slogan of “outwork your poor diet”. Which really doesn’t work. You really can’t outwork a poor diet.
It’s amazing that we are willing to torture our bodies in the name of fitness just to have all that hard work undone due to a lack of discipline in the kitchen.
So, I am committing to this 7-week Point Fitness Clean Simple Eats Summer Challenge. I don’t say that lightly because I don’t like to break my commitment, so that’s why I feel it’s necessary to declare it here. I want all of you to keep me accountable. I also would love to have all of you join me in this challenge.
