We are so excited to get everyone back into the gym! With the County Guidelines, we have made a few adjustments to the schedule and to what we expect from our members when they come in to workout. Please take a look and let me know if you have any concerns or questions.
We will open Monday, May 4th with the following schedule. Check it out!
We will be putting a cap on classes. On the CrossFit side, the cap will be 19 to keep with the state rule of 20. On the Point Fitness side we will be limiting classes to 15 to ensure social distancing.
Therefore, we will need all members to sign up prior to attending class to make sure we do not overbook classes.
How to register for classes…
First off, you must have a membership at Point Fitness. You will download the Push Press Members app. All reservations will take place in the Push Press Members app. Below I have attached a short picture tutorial.

A couple of key points I want to point out from the flyer we created below is, “If you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, stay home and seek medical attention.” This is very important. I’d even go a bit further and say if you think anyone in your household may have contracted this disease, stay home and self-quarantine.
The second point is the Equipment and Socializing. We are going to need all of your help. We have placed time in between classes for our trainers to sanitize but we need you to self sanitize your equipment. Whatever piece of equipment you use or touch must be sanitized.
A few extra rules to abide by:
1. Follow the tape lines we have laid out.
2. On the CrossFit side, there will be boxes created with “x’s”, you will come in and grab all the equipment you need for the workout and place it in your box. This is where you will workout and stay (Unless there is a run, of course) for the whole time you are working out.
3. On the Group Fitness side, there will be X marks 10 feet apart. For High Fitness, you will stay on your “X” the whole workout. For Bootcamp, Instructors will give you a box to stay in and you will stay in that box the whole workout.
4. Do not linger after your workout. Keep 6 foot distance at all times and keep a 10 foot distance during workouts.
For the first week we are going to hold off on kid care. With Social Distancing rules, we are still trying to figure out how to best approach having kids at the gym while the parents workout. We plan to have a fix for that come week 2 but we will have to play it by ear.
When we do bring kid care back, we ask that you only bring your kids if there is no other way around it. If you have older siblings or a spouse who can watch them or if you can adjust your schedule to come to a different hour so they can stay home, please do so.
We want to try and leave the limited spots that we will have available to those who truly have no other solution.
We are going to bring it back for the older kids to start out. With Social Distancing rules, younger children have a hard time abiding by the strictness of social distancing but if you have kids ages 9-14 who would like to join our program, please sign them up. Our schedule will be Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:15 PM.
