Good afternoon Point Fitness!
First off, congratulations on completing week 1 of the CFTP Lockdown! So impressed with the scores and the effort put in. Remember, just like every CrossFit competition or really any competition, this was just week 1 of four. It’s like the first quarter of the game is over but still a lot of game left to play. Excited to see you all take on WOD 2 tomorrow!
Classes added for Point Fitness!
I am excited to announce that starting March 2nd we will be adding new class times!
First off we will be moving the 6 AM Bootcamp class to every morning Monday through Thursday! The 9:30 AM Bootcamp classes will stay Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Along with the Bootcamp change we will also be adding an additional High Fitness class to Friday morning 6 AM!
I am really excited to be adding these classes. We are still working hard to fill these classes and really hope you are enjoying them and inviting your friends. The reality is, the more people we can get to join us the more hours we can offer.
Our Point Playhouse workers have had some business opportunities arise and will no longer be able to watch our kiddos in the mornings. So, if you are interested in getting free membership and making a little bit of extra money on the side and are available in the mornings 8:30 and 9:30, please contact me as soon as you can.
While we’re on the subject of kids at the gym. I just want to remind everyone to watch after your kids. If you come at the time that there are babysitters, instruct your children to stay upstairs with the sitters the whole class period.
If you bring your kids any other time, please don’t allow your children to run around the gym. Even if there is no class going on the other side of the gym, your kids are not allowed on the gym floor unless they are there for the Youth CrossFit classes. This is for their safety and the safety of all the athletes at the gym. It is impossible for the trainer to coach and watch your kids simultaneously.
Also, please look around everywhere your kids were and check for messes, especially the kids room. I know sometimes we are in a hurry and we just call our kids down without going upstairs but as you all know, kids can do a lot in an hour’s time.
We love being able to not only offer a place that your kids can come but also supervised hours as well. As my kids get older, I understand more and more the importance of being able to get and hour to ourselves.
I am so impressed with you all. Committing to coming into the gym while living busy lives of family and work is hard. You all put a priority on your physical and mental health and this, in turn, makes us all better parents, children, bosses, employees and any other role we may have.
Keep up the good work and continue being the example to your families.
