First off, I want to congratulate our two athletes who competed in this past weekend’s Southwest Championships. Coach Brandon Bizier and Megan Burr! They both did incredibly well and both finished 4th in their respective divisions.
They were up against some tough competition and handled the pressure and really represented our gym amazingly.
Make sure to congratulate them when you see them this week.

Finally, my spotlight and thoughts for this upcoming week. Be kind to yourself. We are our worst critics. We all veer off path sometimes. We all eat off plan or miss a workout or miss a lift or perform poorly in a competition from time to time. There are plenty of critics out there and we don’t need to add to the noise.
Every night I want you to go through your mind and compliment yourself on things that you accomplished that day. Keep a positive mindset. Celebrate the victories no matter how small. Small victories lead to big ones.
Lastly, don’t think you have to do all of this on your own. If you need an accountability partner, hit me up or hit up one of your fellow teammates at The Point. We’re all in this fitness battle together. Tomorrow is a new day to a new week to a new month. Let’s dominate September!
