Good Afternoon CFTP,

This week I want to start by spotlighting our two teams that competed in yesterday’s Girls Gone Rx competition up at SLC CrossFit. They both did so awesome and represented us so well.

For the longest time CrossFit The Point was known for having the most competitors at all the local competitions. We had a lull period for a bit there but here we are again representing in strong numbers and also placing better than ever! It is so cool that you all are willing to represent us and also that you are putting your hard work to the test at these different competitions.

I have to apologize for the cancelation of our first trail run. But, onto the next! We will run 2 weeks from now on Saturday morning! I’ll announce the place and time next week. So, keep running on your own and join us on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays going forward!

Congratulations on all of you who rescanned with Dexabody! I have seen some of the results and I am blown away! I am still waiting on the official results for everyone to proclaim the winners but I will do that this coming week as well. Also look out for the post/email about signing up for Quarter 2 of 2019! Keep these good results rolling!

My final thoughts today. Be kind. Be less judgmental.  Celebrate other’s victories. You should never wish someone else to fail in order to make yourself feel like you succeeded. There is enough success to go around. Just because someone lifts more weight than you, moves faster than you, makes more money than you, or anything else, doesn’t lessen the successes you have in your life. On the flip side, don’t let failure get you down. Let it light a fire under you. Let it push you to work harder and let it be your motivation to move forward.

I’ll finish with our spiritual thought from Coach LaDee:

“It’s been a rough week. I’m not sure why but I’ve been sad, my relationships have been stressed and I’ve had a few sleepless nights worrying about things in life. But then, the song that the band plays is one of my favs, “Amazing Grace”. To remind me that He loves me no matter what I do or how I feel. He came to save a wretch like me. Thank God for grace! My heart is not always right but it doesn’t have to be, because I’ve been given Grace! What a relief that I don’t have to earn anything. I don’t have to be perfect. I only have to accept His grace.”

Thanks LaDee!
